Clearwater, Florida - Orian A. SMITH, 92, former Washington resident, moving to Clearwater, Florida in 1973, died at the Drew Village Nursing Home, Clearwater, Florida at 2:30 a.m. Sunday. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gill Chapel, Washington, with Bro. Byron BLACK officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and the Mason's memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m.Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born October 19, 1898 in Daviess County to John and Lula RAGSDALE SMITH. He married Golda M. SCOTT, June 9, 1921 and she died October 11, 1980. He was a retired Uniroyal employee. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Largo, Florida and was a member of the First Christian Church in Washington for many years. He was a member of Charity Lodge No. 30 F & AM, Washington Chapter No. 92, RAM, Washington Council No. 67, R & SM, Washington Commandry No. 33, Knight Templar, Eastern Star, White Shrine and Knights of Pythias. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John (Laverne) SPROCK, Clearwater, Florida, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren, one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Doris DOADES, Washington, John R. SMITH, Anderson and Paul E. SMITH, Holland. One daughter, Evelyn SMITH and three sisters are deceased. (October 6, 1991)
