Kenneth Traylor

Kenneth L. Traylor, 71, 2119 E. National Hwy., died at 12:34 p.m. Sunday at the Daviess County Hospital. He had been in failing health for the last 25 years.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ed Lee Mortuary. Interment will be at the Iva Cemetery, Pike County. Friends may call at the Ed Lee Mortuary from noon Thursday until the funeral hour.
He was born on May 18, 1924, in Pike County to Jess and Ruby (Doades) Traylor. They preceded him in death. He married Edith Hedrick on Feb 10, 1950 and she survives.
Traylor was a framer and trucker and was last employed by Himsel Farms. He attended Pike County school and Otwell High School. He came to Daviess County in 1950.
Surviving are his children, Kenneth Dale (KD) Traylor, Michael Lolan Traylor, DeRoy Lynn Traylor, Judy Doades Wolven and Brent Eugene Traylor, all of Washington; Georgia Lee Catt, Volpen; Kathy S. Bezy, Winslow, and Helen Denise Traylor, Loogootee; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Darrell, his parents and three brothers, Randall, Robert and Paul Traylor.
