Donald Wininger Donald Lee Wininger, 68, Park East Trailer Court, died Friday at 10 a.m. in an automobile accident on U.S. 50 E. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Gill Chapel with interment in Sugarland Memory Gardens. The Rev. Randall L. Sapp will officiate. He was born July 19, 1929, in Daviess County to Sherman L. and Ratta M. (Cutshall) Wininger. He married Correna Grace Archbold, and she died in the same automobile accident. He was retired from Hoover Ball Bearing and had previously worked at Montgomery Ward. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and Chapter 54 Cherokee Samís Camping Club. He graduated from Washington High School. Surviving are two children, Diana Lynn Cooper, Washington, and Richard Eugene Wininger, at home; three grandchildren; and a brother, James A. Wininger, Loogootee. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren and a sister. It was requested that expressions of sympathy be made in the way of donations to the family fund.
