Pleasant Church, Feb. 28th, 1888, and organized and framed the following bylaws. - Cemetery Association We the undersigned hereby agree to associate ourselves together for the purpose of procuring and holding ground as a burial place for the dead and for that purpose do ordain and adopt the following articles of association. Article 1st - The name of this accociation shall be the Ginder Cemetery Association of Wilmington township in DeKalb County, Indiana. Article 2nd - The Cemetery shall be called the Ginder Cemetery and shall be and is located on the south west quarter of Sec. twenty two (22) in said Wilmington township a plat of which cemetery is recorded in the Recorder's office DeKalb County, Indiana. Article 3rd - The members of this accociation shall be any person owning one or more lots in said cemetery or anyone who shall hereafter purchase a lot therein. Article 4th - In all meetings of this accociation each member shall be entitled to one vote and ten (10) members shall consititute a quorum to do business. Article 5th - The association whall be governed by a President Secretary Treasurer and a board of three trustees which officers shall be elected by the members of the association and shall hold their offices for one year and till their Successors are elected the Trustees may hold any one of the offices of President Secretary or Treasurer. Article 5th at the annual meeting March 13, 1900 the constitution was amended so the Trustees hold their office five years. Article 6th - The President whall have power to call a meeting of the association for the purpose of adopting such bylaws as are needed for the government of the association shich bylaws may be amended at any meeting of the association called in like manner for that purpose. Article 7th - The board of Trustees shall have power to purchase ground for the purposes of this accociation and to improve the same and keep it in repair and for that purpose may make assessments from time to time against the members of the association not to exceed one dollar at any one ftime for each lot owned by any member. Feb. 26th, 1908, The Ginder cemetery association met a the Mt. Pleasant church meeting called to order by President. 11 members present. Report of previous meeting read and approved as read. Report of Turstees - John Shafer reports $1.00 collected - Treasurers report $2.65 on hand first of the year - Collected for two years $19.00 - Total $21.65 - Payed out in two years $11.00 - on hand to day $10.65 - on motion their reports was accepted on motion and (2) elected Frederick Ginder Trustee in place of Jacob F. Burns who moved away on motion and (2) we reorganized by electing the following officers - President, Jacob Gunsenhouser - Sec., P. D. Ginder - Treas., Daniel Keller - Trustees, John Shafer, Fred. Ginder and J. H. Baxter - Sexton, P. D. Ginder on motion ajourned to meet to call of President (P. D. Ginder, Sec.) Feb. 26th, 1909, the Ginder cemetery association met at Mt. Pleasant church house called to order by President 10 members present minutes of previous meeting was read and approved as read. Report of Trustees. July 3rd, 1908, gave an order on Treasurer of $2.00 for labor by E. Groobaugh, March 13th, 1908, for getting name of Trustees recorded and secretary book $1.00 and collected during the year $1.50 Treasurer report on hand first of year $10.65 - Collected $1.50 - Total $12.15 - payed out $3.00 - on hand today $9.15 on motion report was received - on motion and (2) reorganized Ellected the following officers - Pres., Jacob Gunsenhouser - Sec., P. D. Ginder, Treas., Daniel Keller - Sexton, P. D. Ginder After some talk of changing cemetery to Township property the meeting adjourned on motion to meet on call of Pres. (P. D. Ginder) Trustees of the Ginder Cemetery met at the home of P. D. Ginder June 11, 1909 Namely Delbert McBride, John Shafer P. D.
