Hull, M.D., was born in Coshocton County, Ohio, Feb. 4, 1815, a son of Henry and Christiana (Cox) Hull, natives of Virginia and Pennsylvania. He lived on his father’s farm till twenty-one years of age, receiving his education in the public schools of Knox County, Ohio. When nineteen years of age he began the study of medicine, and when twenty-one began his practice. In 1851 he moved to De Kalb County, Ind., and located at Newville where he has built up a large and lucrative practice. He was married April 24, 1856, to Melissa Rex, daughter of Joshua and Martha (Watson) Rex, natives of Vermont and New York. To them have been born six children, four of whom are living---Lorinda, C.O., Inez and T.M.
