Friends at this place were very much shocked when a telephone message from Decatur told of the death of Mrs. Walter Lawson of flu and
pneumonia.
While the Lawson family were never residents of this place they had many friends here.
Mr. Lawson having been director and organizer of the St. Joe Community Welfare band.
The family also played as an orchestra at the Christian church about three years ago for several months.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lawson and Mrs. Harvey Lindley left Saturday morning for
Decatur.
