I'm looking for information on Christopher HOYT, who moved to Concord, DeKalb from Trumbull County, Ohio in 1837, and died in Concord, DeKalb in 1846. I have his land deed and probate record, but am looking for additional information on family relationships which might help me focus my search for his parents. Circumstantial evidence suggests that he may have been related to Fanny (Hoyt) Alton, wife of Minister Benjamin Alton (Church of Christ, Coburntown), Lemuel Flint and Hannah (Hoyt) (Gee) Flint, and Amelia (Hoyt) Hifford/Hayford, and their descendants, including Benjamin Franklin Hoyt, Frederick Harmon Gee, and Harlow Gee. All of these individuals (except possibly Amelia) appear to have been associated with the Disciples of Christ (Church of Christ) Church in Coburntown or "Coburn's Corners." Any information that would help to prove or disprove this connection would be appreciated.
