Daniel writes: I recorded the information on all the tombstones at Yorktown Cemetery, Yorktown, Indiana, for my Eagle Scout candidate project. The cemetery is in the town of Yorktown along Elm Street, just south of State Route 32. It is still managed by the town.

The database has 1160 lines, one line for each person, although some of the lines just list a stone that could not be read. When standing on Elm Street, row 1 is closest to you. Section A is the south side; section B is the north side. If a man and a woman are on the same stone number, chances are that they are husband and wife. The badly weathered stones are marked as blank, illegible, broken stone etc.
