The Death Records Index was compiled from the Vital Records Index
created by the Indiana Works Project Administration published in 1942.
The Original WPA Index contained some Spelling and Date errors.
The Index on this site has been published as it was in 1942.
If
you know of an error and would like to submit a corrected entry, it
will be posted on the Contributed Death Records Page with a reference
to the error in the WPA Index.
Please send an email with the correction and your source.
To order a Death Certificate please contact the Delaware County Health Department.
Please include the Book and Page Number with your request.
NOTE:
Additional information may be recorded in the County Books but not
included on an Actual Certificate. Be sure to ask for ALL information
available.
