Mansfield Ball Cemetery

Mansfield Ball Cemetery in located on the Mansfield Farm east of Indiana State Road 3 South and north of County Road 700 South in Monroe Township. The cemetery is back from the road by a pond under some trees and near a power line tower. There are 8 known burials in this cemetery. The earliest burial was Rebecca Goble September 2, 1833. It is not certain when the Mansfield Ball Cemetery was donated to the township.

Travel Indiana State Road 3 South to County Road 700 South. Use the driveway on the east side of State Road 3 that leads to the white house just north of the large brick house on the corner of County Road 700 South and State Road 3.

To access this cemetery you will need to travel through the yard and walk back around the pond. This is a Private Residence, so please be courteous and stop at the house and ask permission to go back to the cemetery.

Restorations of the Mansfield Ball Cemetery are being completed in a cooperative effort by Monroe Township volunteers recruited by Township Board member Rae Reeder with help from the Delaware County Pioneer Cemetery Preservation Committee.
