ELAM, Miss Willie Louise

BODY BROUGHT TO CITY

Miss Willie Louise ELAM, 21, colored, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at Logansport. The body was brought to the Patterson mortuary. Miss ELAM was a former member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church. Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Mattie PERRY of Muncie, one brother, Robert ELAM of this city and a neice, Miss Francis BOOHER, of Muncie. funeral arrangements will be completed today.

ELLIS, Savannah (Dudelston)

LONG ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. G.M. ELLIS

Mrs. Savanah Addington Ellis, 73, wife of George M. Ellis, died at the family residence, 222 South Lincoln street, last evening following an extended illness. Mrs. Ellis was a lifelong resident of Delaware County, and was a member of Daughters of America.

Funeral services will be held at the Meek's mortuary at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Surviving are the husband, George M. Ellis; one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Irelan, of this city; one son, George Addington, of Dover, Fla.; one brother, George Dudleston, of Eaton; one half-brother, Charles Dudleston, of North Vernon, O.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Mayme Love, of this city, and Mrs. Josie Lewellen, of Eaton.

The body will be removed to the family residence from the mortuary this afternoon.

Ellis, Walter J. Funeral arrangements were being completed today for Walter J. Ellis, formerly sole owner of the O. & O. Music Co., president of the Douglas Social Club, member of the board of directors of the Dunbar Life Insurance Co., member Mighty Majestic Lodge I. B. P. O. E. of W. of Elks. Mr. Ellis was born in Muncie, Ind., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ellis. Surviving are his daughter, Miss Patricia Ellis; his mother, Mrs. Nellie Ellis; two sisters, Mrs. Larcy Gaines of Cleveland, Mrs. Margaret McCarley of Indianapolis, Ind.; brothers James, Robert, George, Julius, jr., and Rubin, and parents, all of Cleveland. Services Monday, 7:30 p. m., at the Arthur E. Wynne Funeral Home, 5909 Hawthorne Ave. Interment at Muncie, Ind.

EVILSIZER, William H.

Muncie Star Tuesday July 2, 1974

Ridgeville-

William H Evilsizer, 49, died Monday afternoon at Veteran's hospital, Indianapolis, after a short illness. A carpenter, he was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 3228 in Muncie, and was a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; a son, William II; three daughters, Mrs David (Marjorie) Stephenson, Ridgeville, Mrs Carl (Jonelle) Tucker, Ridgeville, and Miss Patty Sue Evilsizer, at home; four grandchildren, his mother, Mrs Nellie Ringley, Ridgeville; two sisters, Mrs Jesse Shauver, Fort Wayne and Mrs Don Yeargain, Farmington, MO; and two step sisters, Mrs Jeanette Stump, Ridgeville and Mrs Fern Bannon, Union City. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene with Rev Kenneth Adams officiating. Burial will be in Lawndale Cemetery. Friends may call at the Middletown Mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Wednesday and at the church an hour before services. The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Church of the Nazarene.

EWING, Ocie (Smith)

Ocie Ewing, 71;

Warner Gear Retiree

Ocie Ewing, 71, a former Muncie resident, died Friday in Orlando, Fla. She was born in Muncie and moved to Florida in 1968. She retired from Warner Gear in 1968 after 24 years of sevice. She was a member of the Warner Gear sympathy club.

Survivors include one son, John R. Good, Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Earl Smith, Muncie; Jerry Smith, Matthews; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Parson Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Denny Helton officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call the mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today.
