This is a 4 generation photo of my great grandfather, Robert I. Patterson, also affectionately known in Muncie as Corporal Bob.Robert I. was born in Muncie March 28, 1842. He was a lawyer and also Poet Laureate of Indiana for some time.With him is one daughter Arie Inez and her daughter, Marion Bath. The older woman is my gg grandmother, Robert's mother, Jane Turner Patterson, wife of Samuel R. Patterson and sister to Minus Turner who built the Patterson Block.
