Will of Frederick BEEMER
(side note; died 1852)

In the name of God amen. I Frederick BEEMER of Muncie in the county of Delaware and state of Indiana being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make ordain publish and declare this to be my last will and testament that is to say. first after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged the residue of my estate real and personal I give bequeath and dispose of as follows towit

To my beloved wife that portion of my real estate described as follows towit Out lot No One in BROWN's donation to Muncie formerly Muncietown estimated to contain one acre with all pertaining there to. Also the south half of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of section sixteen town twenty range ten east and numbered as lot eight in the subdivision estimated to contain nineteen acres and sixty two hundreths lying in Delaware Co and state of Indiana and also all my household and kitchen furniture except five beds and bedding to be distributed as follows equally between my son George, my daughters Sarah Emily, Hannah Minerva, Elizabeth Ann, and my son John Edwin. Also her choice of my milk cows all now possessed by me during the term of her natural life and after her death to be divided equally amongst her heirs.

To my son Samuel BEEMER a certain lot of land described as follows towit. Running a northerly direction on to Priscilla McFARLAN's south east corner thence along the line running west to BUCHHANNON's line thence with said line south to the creek thence meandering said creek to the place of beginning No 4149 in James CULBERTSON's entry lying in Green County and state of Ohio. Also twenty five dollars in cash having previouslydeeded and given him my said son Samuel his portion of my real and personal property except that part herein before named.

To my son James BEEMER twenty five dollars in cash and to his present wife and their legal heirs one hundred fifty dollars in money having previously given to him his equal share of my estate except the amount herefor set out.

To my daughter Harriet McLELLON and her husband James McLELLON two hundred and fifty dollars in money having previously given them equal share of my estate except the forgoing amount of $250.

To my daughter Jane McCONNEL and Robert McCONNEL her husband fifty dollars in cash having previously given them their equal share of my estate except the amount above mentioned the real estate having been deeded to my daughter Jane McCONNEL and her heirs.

To my son Israel G. BEEMER two hundred dollars in money

To my son George W. BEEMER three hundred dollars in money as now vested in groceries and a brown horse now in his possession

To my daughter Sarah Emily BEEMER three hundred dollars in money.

To my Daughter Mary Louisa RODMAN three hundred dollars in money.

To my daughter Hannah Minerva BEEMER three hundred dollars in money,

To Elizabeth Ann BEEMER my daughter three hundred dollars in money.

To my son John Edwin BEEMER three hundred dollars in money

I also will that my farm lying south of Muncie and known by the name of the Anthony farm be rented for the term of five years my wife receiving one third of the rents and profits during the said term and after the expiration of the said five years that the said farm be sold and the amount distributed equally between my last wife's children after their having received their amount as previously set forth in this will out of the proceeds of the sale of said farm or otherwise.

Likewise I make constitute and appoint Edwin C. ANTHONY to be executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed by the said Frederick BEEMER in our presents and acknowledged to each of us and he at the same time published and declared the above instument so subscribed to be his last will and testament and are at the testators request and in his presents to have signed our names as witnesses hereto and written opposite our names our respective places of residence
