Born in Wheatland, he was the son of MARTIN and CATHERINE BLAGRAVE HENDRIXSON. He married CARMEN HUESTON and she survives.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and worked as an auto mechanic in French Lick, West Baden and Muncie.
Surviving with his wife are six daughters: JEAN NORDHOFF of Jasper, NINA KAY BURTON of McMinville, Tenn., JENNY HART of Ridgeville, CATHY CLARK of New Albany, SHERYL MILLSPAUGH of Anderson, and LISA HENDRIXSON of Holland; a son, STEVEN HENDRIXSON of Muncie; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Brosmer-Drabing Funeral Home, French Lick, with Rev. JACK WILSON officiating.
Burial will be in the Ames Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
