James Hueston

Spencer - James T. Hueston, 80, of R.2, Spencer, died Sunday at Martinsville Hospital. He was a former Bloomington resident.

A native of Crawford County, he was the son of Thomas and Sarah Wininger and was a member of the Miller Drive Nazarene Church in Bloomington. He had been employed by the State Highway Garage for eight years prior to his retirement in 1961, when he moved to Owen County. He was a former employee of the United Rubber Company in Indianapolis and the Indiana State Forest.

Survivors are the wife, Hilda; a foster daughter, Mrs. Letha Baird of Geneseo, N.Y.; two brothers, Owen of West Baden and William, of French Lick; a sister, Mrs. Edith Combs of French Lick; two foster grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Day Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev Clovis Patton, the Rev. Carl Nikirk, and the Rev. Earl Poorman officiating. Burial will be in Chambersville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 - 9 p.m. today and all day Tuesday.
