REV. WILLIAM WINEINGER

The Rev. William Henderson Wineinger, 93, of 529 E. Lawndale, formerly of Dubois, Ind., died at 10:50 p.m. Sunday, April 5, 1992,at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Born Sept. 11, 1898, in French Lick, Ind., to William Kinder and Alvaretta Howerton Wineinger, he married Esther Baker in September 1919. She died Jan. 19, 1963, in North Pekin. He later married Mildred Cleer on June 21, 1980. She died June 7, 1982. One daughter, three brothers and one granddaughter also preceded him in death.

Surviving are two brothers, Byard Fred of Texas and Claude of French Lick; two granddaughters; three stepgrandchildren; four great- grandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was ordained in 1944 and was pastor of several churches in central Illinois.

He was a member of the Bible Christian Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home. The Rev. Cliff Richards will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the services at the memorial home. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
