Roselyn M. Voelkel, age 92 of Jasper, passed away at 6:30 p.m., Sunday (July 29, 2012) at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper. She was born in Portersville, Indiana on July 30, 1919 to Nicholas and Emma (Hemmerlein) Eisenhut. She married Isaac H. Voelkel on November 20, 1937 in Dubois, IN and he preceded her in death on August 15, 1988. She was a homemaker and member of the Alfordsville Assembly of God. She was also a member of AARP. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Surviving,

Siglinde Eisenhut, Munich, Germany Preceding Roseslyn in death besides her husband are two sisters, Loretta Eisenhut, Muriel Minor, three brothers, Arlo, Gilbert, and Emil Eisenhut. Funeral services for Roselyn M. Voelkel will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday (August 1, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow in the Portersville Cemetery. Pastor Paul Hyatt will officiate. Friends may call from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, (July 31, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alfordsville Assembly of God or to a favorite charity.
