After operating the grocery at Main and State streets for the past few months, Ray L. Waples has disposed of the business to Robert Hoagland of Attica. The new owner, Mr. Hoagland has been operating the White City Grocery at Attica and is now moving the stock and fixtures of this store here where he will combine it with the stock and equipment in the local store. The complete stock of the Attica establishment will be continued under the direction of Mr. Hoagland. Mr. Waples will retire for a time and has not decided what he will take up in the future. He was formerly a window decorator at Loeb & Hene Store.

PEARL's GROCERY

Martha and John P. Pearl were married Aug 9, 1927 in Attica and ran (her obituary) the grocery until 1961 when they retired.

Attica, Nov 19 - HD Odle who has conducted a grocery on North Perry Street for a number of years sold his stock of goods Thursday to Edgar R. Brook of Boswell. He will have possession at once and Mr. Brooks intends to move the stock to Talbot. Mr. Odle has not made up his mind as to what line of business he will take up.
