George W. Nolin is a son of Thomas and Jane Nolin and was born in Ohio in 1828. In 1830, he moved to Fountain County and in 1850 to Benton where hep urchased 200 acres and in the same year married Miley Stone, daughter of Thomas Stone who died in 1851 and Mr. Nolin next married Nancy Lank in 1855 wo died in 1857; his tird marriage was to Eliza Munson, widow of Sino Munson and daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Littrell. Mr. Nolin has property in Green Hill valued at $700. He is an upright man and esteemed citizen. Mrs. Nolin is a member of the United Brethren Church.
