John ROADS, farmer, Covington was born in Warren Co OH Feb 24, 1820 son of Jacob and Mary FOX Roads. Mr. Roads came to Fountain County with his parents about 1839 and has been a resident of the county ever since, engaged in farming. He is the owner of 351 acres of fine improved land which is due to his energy and attention to business. He has been twice married. His first wife, Elizabeth E. Graham by whom he had one child, Irlanus. His present wife, Mary A. Wolf has 8 children: John; Lewis; Harriet E wife of Charles Marlatte; Mary A; Amanda; John; Viola and Emma.
