Kind and impartial to her subordinates, efficient in the administration and disposition of detailed work, Mrs. Evangeline B. Sunday is recognized as one of the best liked executive with Home Owners’ Loan Corporation.  Now holding the post of chief of the pay roll section, personnel office, Mrs. Sunday has had plenty of experience. Before joining HOLC in January 1934, she had been employed for 12 years at pay roll work in the Office of the Secretary, Dept. of Interior. Mrs. Sunday came here from Veedersburg, Indiana and is a graduate of Wabash HS with subsequent training in business college. THE HOLC official has blue eyes and light brown hair and for recreation during this summer has been partial to horseback riding and swimming. She also is active with Mizpah Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Evangeline B. Sunday, 92, of Scottsdale, a homemaker, died Nov 14, 1989. She was born in Indianapolis. Survivors include one son, Courtney; two grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Memorial services: 2 p.m. Monday, Creighton Christian Church, 2131 E Thomas Road. Contributions: American Red Cross, PO Box 17090, Phoenix 85011 or to the church.  Messinger Mortuary.
