Mrs. Ruby F. Buckles has filed a divorce suit in the Fountain Count Circuit Court against her husband, Roy L. Buckles, both of Attica. They were married Nov 2, 1920 and have one child, who is with her mother. She charges the defendant abandoned her on May 15, 1926 and on June 15, 1926 was married to Eva Crabbs of Westminster, Ind without going through the formality of securing a divorce. The plaintiff claims that the defendant is possessed of considerable property and has an annual income of $1,500 and asks for a decree of absolute divorce, the custody of their child and an allowance of $1,000 per year for its proper support. - transcribed by kbz
