Covington, Jan 25 -Suit was filed in the circuit court by Mabel Huff of
Attica, asking divorce from her husband, Russell Huff. The complaint
alleges the parties were married Jan 14, 1925 at Crawfordsville and
lived together as husband and wife but four weeks when the defendant
wantonly abandoned his bride and that she has been forced to support
herself since that time. The plaintiff claims during their honeymoon
the defendant called her vile names, accused her of numerous things she
had not done and struck and beat her in several occasions. She aks for
a divorce on the grounds of cruel and inhuman treatment and that her
maiden name be restored to her. No children were born to the marriage.
