IFFERT, Marie Axsom - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Marie B. Iffert of Veedersburg, age 71, died Friday morning, November 26, in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. She was born at Mellott, November 8, 1911, the daughter of Hobart and Luella Brimberry Axsom. May 20, 1948, she married James A. Iffert, who survives. Mrs. Iffert was a member of the Mellott Church of Christ.

  Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Chester Rice of Cayuga, Mrs. Mertie Myers of Yeddo and Betty Ann Hargis; a son, Robert of Danville, Illinois, and 18 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. Robert Denny officiating. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery at Veedersburg. - thanks to S
