Lois Benton Ingle of North Salem, age 64, died Friday afternoon, January 9, at his home of an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was born in Illinois, November 24, 1916, the son of Joseph and Nettie Driscoll Ingle. In 1941, he married Lucille Hurt, who survives. A member of an Indianapolis Moose Lodge, he had served with the Navy in World War II and was a construction worker.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jeanie Moore of North Salem; a son, John of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Haganman of Indianapolis and Mrs. Dorothy Dusan of Roachdale; and four grandchildren.  Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with Rev. Jesse Hawn officiating. Burial was in Rush Creek Cemetery near Tangier. – thanks to S
