Kingman, Ind- William Ireland, 69,a retired employee of the C&EI railroad at Danville, died at 5 p.m. yesterday (Mar 3, 1968) at his home near Wallace. Born March 8 1898, in Parke County, he was the son of William and Emma Harper Ireland. He was a member of the Wallace Masonic Lodge 495, Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and Faniel Lutheran Church. Survivors include his widow, Olive, a son David at home; a sister, Mrs Fern Smart of Attica; a brother Robert of Danville. He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home. The Rev John Stacey will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday. Masonic services will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Wallace-William IRELAND, 69 a retired machinist-foreman for the C & EI Railroad at Danville, Ill. died unexpectedly at 5 p.m. Sunday at his home near here. Mr. Ireland was a member of the Phanuel Lutheran Church near Wallace, F&AM 495 at Wallace and Scottish Rite Valley at Indianapolis. He was born in Parke County March 8, 1898, a son of William and Emma (Harper) Ireland. He was married to Olive Holaday who survives. Also surviving are a son, David at home; a sister, Mrs. Fern Smart of Attica, and a brother, Robert of Danville, Ill. He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman with Rev. John Stacey officiating. Interment will be in Phanuel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be conducted at 8:30 this evening.
