Charles Duane Isom, 59, of Veedersburg died at 7 a.m. Monday May 4, 1992 at University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born Nov 2, 1932 at Sciota, Ill, son of Wm. Lawrence and Pearl Elizabeth Bagley Isom. He was married to Charlotte J. Carpenter on June 15, 1958 in Covington. She survives. Also surv are son Wilbur D (Kelly) Isom of Covington; daughter, Dianna Sue Isom of Veedersburg; sister Mrs. Alva (Mary Lou) Carpenter of Covington. He was preceded in death by his parnets, a daughter, a son and 3 brothers. He was a resident of Veedersburg since 1961. He was a former resident of Covington. He was a member of Stringtown Church of God and the Men's Groups of the church. He had been employed at Teepak 27 years. Visitation Wed at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington services Thurs May 7 at the funeral home with Paul Kirby officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope.
