Thelma D. Jackman, 62 of Perrysville died at 6:20 a.m. Monday Feb 10, 1997 at Covington Manor Healthcare Center. Born Sept 27, 1934 in Bloomingdale she was the daughter of Raymond and Irene (Abernathy) Wittenmyer. Mrs. Jackman worked for several years for the Coffing Brothers Orchard until failing health and she also worked at REMC of Attica. She was a 1953 graduate of Bloomingdale HS. She enjoyed playing bingo and being with her family. Surviving are two sons, Jeff (Pam) Jackman of Cayuga and Bill Jackman of Perrysville; one daughter, Dana (Gobel) Pearman of Kingman; a stepson, Michael L (Dianne) Jackman of Bellevue, Neb; her mother, Irene Wittenmyer of Rockville, 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Bill (Jayne) Wittenmyer of Madison, Wisc and David (Connie) Wittenmyer of Marshall; one sister, Barbara (Bobbie) Jackson of Rockville. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Steven Jackman. Visitation was Tuesday at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home, Cayuga. Service there on Wednesday with Pastor Paul Kent officiating. Interment in Lower Mound Cemetery, Perrysville. – kbz
