JACKSON, Harriet Golda Burgin

JAMESTOWN -- Harriett Golda Jackson, 85, of Rt. 1, Jamestown, a life resident of Boone County, died this morning in Witham Hospital at Lebanon. She had been ill one month. She was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church and its Men's and Women's Bible Class. She was born Nov. 18, 1890, a daughter of Marion A. and Nancy A. Hiland Burgin. She was married to Worner Frank Jackson on Feb. 1, 1913. He died Dec. 15, 1948. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jewell (Octova) Steward of Rt. 2, Jamestown, and Mrs. Evan (Gladys) Funkhouser of Rt. 1, Jamestown; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, two brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Russell & Hitch Funeral Home at Lebanon with the Rev. Raymond Duff officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.  --waw
