JACKSON, Harrison - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Harrison Jackson, 79 years old, of Kingman, died Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Lake View Hospital in Danville, Ill after suffering a stroke of paralysis.  Mr. Jackson was born June 18, 1864 in Orange County, the son of Samuel and Sarah Blair Jackson, pioneer Indiana couple.  He was married to Ida Sherron, who preceded him in death August 21, 1930. Surviving are one son Wesley of Kingman; two grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Sanders of Indianapolis; Mrs. Eva Hodson, Mrs. Verda Weaver and Mrs. Gertie Sowers all  of Kingman; and a brother, James Jackson of Kingman. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the home of the son, Rev. BH Spratt officiating.  Burial in Fraternal cemetery.   --- transcribed by kbz
