KINGMAN — Miss Jean Jackson, a former resident of Kingman, died Thursday in a hospital at Montreal, Canada. She was 81. Miss Jackson was born at Sylvania, Ind. on Aug. 19, 1887, the daughter of Elwood and Martha Ann Lindley Jackson. She was a 1908 graduate of Bloomingdale Academy. She was a retired teacher in the Montreal school system and also taught privately. She was a birthright member of the Friends Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Grace. Survivors include several cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman. Burial will be in Rush Creek Cemetery, one mile northeast of Tangier.
