Mrs. LaVerne Jackson of Bloomingdale, age 64, died Tuesday evening, December 8, at her home. She was born in Bloomingdale, April 10, 1917, the daughter of Charles and Rhoda Daniels Cook. October 11, 1934, she was married to Ray Jackson, who died December 21, 1980.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of Bloomingdale Methodist Church and was formerly employed at the Indiana State Sanatorium.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Jane Shuman of Covington; two sons, Donald Ray Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Larry Rex Jackson of Danville, Illinois; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Bosse officiating. Burial was in Bloomingdale Cemetery. -s
