KINGMAN — Norval Jackson, age 73, of Danville Rt. 4, brother of Mrs. Ola (Ivah) Marshall of Kingman, died at 4:50 a.m. Friday, Oct. 20, in Lake View Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient two days. He had been in ill health six months. Mr. Jackson was born Feb. 21, 1894, at Tangier, the son of Henry Allen and Eva Luetta Hodson Jackson. His schooling was in the Parke County rural schools. After schooling he was a farm employee. He was then a carpenter and cabinet maker until 1943 when he returned to farming, retiring in 1958. He was married Oct. 9, 1913, in Danville, to Stella Myrtle Bassinger, who survives. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: one son, Norval A. Jackson of Danville; one daughter, Mrs. Eddie Heath of Danville; two sisters, Mrs. Marshall of Kingman and Mrs. Alfred (Mabel) Chandler of Indianapolis; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30. - waw
