Hillsboro- Lowell H. Janeway 55, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday at his home here. He had been an invalid since suffering a back injury in a fall on his farm in February of 1958. Born Jan 7, 1906, near Hillsboro, he was the oldest of nine children born to Oscar and Moe Newlin Janeway. He was married Nov 29, 1927 to Ola Mae Lang. They were married at Richland. Mr. Janeway farmed in the Richland area 20 years before moving here in 1947. After moving to this community he continued to farm and later was associated with the Kerr Tractor & Implement Co. of Covington and Mellott. He was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church and Fountain County Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Charles W. of Ft. Wayne and Robert S. of Hillsboro; five brothers, Charles of Ft. Wayne, Donald of Muncie, George of Williamsport, Thomas of DeKalb, Ill. and Sam of Hillsboro; three sisters, Mrs Mildred Hamm of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Mabel TerBush, who lives in England, and Miss Mary Janeway of Indianapolis; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2p.m. Monday at the Crumley Funeral Home here with Rev. John Coil, pastor of the Christian Church, in charge. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday afternoon and evening.

Hillsboro- Funeral services for Lowell H Janeway, who died at his home in Hillsboro Friday evening, were held Monday Afternoon at the Crumley funeral Home in Hillsboro. Rev. John Coil, pastor of the Christian Church, officiated and organ music was by Miss Sandra Jo Templeton. The pallbearers were Roby Mitchell of Newton, Lawrence Moser of Mellott and Ernest Myer, Ernest Shade, Ralph Rusk and Elton Rusk, all of Hillsboro. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro.
