JAYNES, Anna Elizabeth Sorrels
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Jaynes, who died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Attica Christian Church and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Jaynes was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Sorrels and was married Jan 20, 1885 at West Lebanon to Joseph Jaynes who diedin 1941. She made her home in the Attica vicinity until 25 years ago when they moved to
Lafayette. She was a member of the Newtown Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alma Penick, Kramer and Mrs. James Hughes, Lafayette; three sons, Earl Harmon Jaynes of Attica, Edgar Janes (sic) of Rt 2, Attica and Emmet Janes (sic ) of Hmmond. --- kbz
