Charles M. Johnson, 96, of 3735 Linden Ave., died Thursday in a Long Beach sanitarium. He was born in Attica, Ind., and lived in St. Johns, Mich. 50 years prior to moving to Long Beach 28 years ago. He was in the post office service until retiring. Surviving are two sons, A.C.M. Johnson of Long Beach and A.V.L. Johnson. Private service will be Monday in the Patterson & Snively Mortuary chapel with the Rev. L. A. Whitcomb officiating.
