Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Mrs. Eunice Peck Johnson, 86, a retired school teacher and former circuit clerk in Warren & Benton counties, died Monday evening, Aug. 10, 1981, at St. Elizabeth hospital in Lafayette. She had been ill since February. Mrs. Johnson, of Attica Route 4, resided in Fowler prior to moving to the Route 4 residence 12 years ago. She attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute and later taught school in West Lebanon. She was circuit clerk in Warren county for eight years and previously served as circuit clerk in Benton county for eight years. She also had been a secretary for the DeMotte Insurance Agency for several years and the license branch in Williamsport. She was a member of the Attica-Williamsport Presbyterian Church in Attica and also the Fowler Presbyterian Church and was active in both churches. She was also a charter member of the Williamsport Business and Professional Women's Club and the Fort Nitely Club. Born Aug. 24, 1894, in Pine Township, she was the daughter of George W. and Ida Hopkins Peck. Survivors include two sons, Richard W. Johnson of Attica and John R. Johnson of Williamsport; a sister, Florence Peck of Attica; and seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A daughter, Virginia McConnell, preceded her in death in September, 1980. Services at the Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. Charles Anderson officiated and burial in Riverside cemetery.  --waw
