JOLLEY, Myrtle Alice Kerns

Myrtle Alice Jolley, 76, died late Monday morning in Small Nursing Home at Waynetown. She was a Montgomery County native, born March 9, 1892 to James and Lucinda Stonebraker Keerns. Her first marriage was to Charles Walker. On Dec. 15, 1920 she married Belford A. Jolley. Mrs. Jolley was a member of Oak Hill Tabernacle Church. Survivors include three sons, William E. Walker of Lafayette, Lester H. Walker of Odessa, Tex., and Russell F. Hostetter of Los Angeles; a stepson, Carl Jolley of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Nora Melvin, and brother, Charles Shaffer of Crawfordsville; 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Her husband and three sisters preceded Mrs. Jolley in death. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Tabernacle Church, where the body will be taken at noon, and Rev. Lester Wright will be the minister. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery here. Friends may call at Hunt and Son Funeral Home. – jlr
