WAYNETOWN — Darrell Wilton Jones, 80, Waynetown, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2002 in St. Clare Medical Center, Crawfordsville. He was born April 15, 1921 in Shepardsville, the son of Josiah and Goldie Myers Jones. He married Lora Gail Keller April 18, 1946 in Marshall. She survives. He was a 1939 graduate of Marshall High School. He attended Purdue University Agricultural Short Course. He was a livestock and grain farmer for 63 years. He was a member of Prairie Chapel and past member of the 4-H Counsel. He was a director of Fountain County Farm Bureau and a past director of West Central Co-Op. Survivors, besides the wife, include: two daughters, Gailyn Casaday, Nashua, N.H. and Melody Payne, Londonderry, N.H.; a sister, Helen Davis, Terre Haute; a brother, J. Gene Jones, Marshall; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. March 13 in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., Waynetown, with the Rev. Hubert Wilson officiating. Burial was in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery, Wallace. Memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Chapel, c/o David Foxworthy, 3032 E.
