  Frank R. Jones, 66, prominent Crawfordsville business man and brother of Mayor Clark D. Jones of Crawfordsville died Tuesday morning at Culver Hospital, following a heart attack.
  He was taken to the hospital Monday night after having been stricken at his home, 518 East Main Street, earlier in the day.
  Mr. Jones, who was one of the city’s best known business man, was in the clothing business in Crawfordsville 35 years. He went there from Kingman where he was also in the clothing business.
  The Jones Clothing Store, situated at 103 South Washington Street, was sold to Russell (Bud) Powell, present owner, three years ago when Mr. Jones retired from business. Since then he had devoted his attention to other business interests.
  During the early years of his business activity in Crawfordsville, Mr. Jones was associated with John Maloney.
  Also active in church and civic affairs, Mr. Jones was a member of the First Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Crawfordsville Rotary Club.
  In addition, he also was active in the work of the Salvation Army, having served as Crawfordsville chairman during annual drives of this welfare organization.
  Born June 19, 1883 at Harveysburg in Fountain County, Mr. Jones was the son of Henry and Nancy Jones. He married Miss Audrey McCord of Veedersburg in 1912, who besides the brother, survives.

Frank R. Jones, retired Crawfordsville business man and well known in the Veedersburg community died Tuesday of heart seizure at Culver Hospital. Mr. Jones start his business career in Kingman and later opening a clothing store in Crawfordsville for 35 years. He was born July 19, 1883 at Harveysburg in Fountain County and was married in 1912 to Miss Audrey McCord of Veedersburg. He is survived by the widow. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Crawfordsville on Thursday afternoon with burial in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery - kbz
