KINGMAN - Glenn Jones, age 71, of Kingman, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at Lake View Memorial Hospital in Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient for one day. Mr. Jones was born Nov. 8, 1897, in Vermilion County, Ill., the son of James and Bertha Stevenson Jones. He was married to Edith Golden Ramsey, who preceded him in death April 30, 1942. A retired farmer, he had owned and operated the Kingman Pool Hall for the past three years. He was a member of the Kingman Masonic Lodge 314 and Scottish Rite, Valley of Danville. He also was a member of the Millcreek Township Farm Bureau and the Modern Woodman Camp 443. He attended the Union Corner EUB Church near Danville. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Nona) Martin of Kingman Rt. 2; one brother, Gorden Jones of Terre Haute; one half-sister, Mrs. Edith Goff of Rockville Rt. 4; two grandsons, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by one son, Ralph. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Centennial Church north of Kingman. The Rev. Harold Kollmyer officiated and burial was in the Atherton Cemetery, near Danville. Masonic memorial services were conducted by Kingman Lodge 314. The Davies-Tudor Funeral Home of Marshall was in charge of arrangements. - jlr
