Bloomingdale—Harry R. Jones, 87, Route 1, Bloomingdale, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 1989 at Parke County Nursing Home, near Rockville, of natural causes.
He was born Feb. 28, 1902 in Vermiion County, Ill., the son of Wesley and Annie Johnson Jones. He was married April 9, 1929 to Zoma M. Goff, who preceded him in death July 27, 1979.
He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Janet Lee, Route 1, Butler, Ill., and Mrs. Sue Hager, Route 1, Kingman, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Butler Funeral Home, Rockville, with the Rev. Kenneth Majors officiating. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. – thanks to S
