Berrien Springs, Mich.—Herbert B. Jones, 73, Berrien Springs, died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 1989 in Berrien Springs General Hospital. He had been hospitalized two months.

  He was born Oct. 12, 1915 in Somerset, Ky. He moved to Lexington, Ill., in 1921 and spent most of his life there. He was married Dec. 23, 1937 in Covington, at Lorraine R. Wilson, who preceded him in death Jan. 27, 1972. She was a homemaker.
  He farmed for a number of years in the Lexington area and was a former member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Lexington.

  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Art (Doris) Mitchell, Lafayette; Mrs. Dick (Karen) Wire, Berrien Springs, and Mrs. Dan (Carol) Smith, Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; four sons, Ronald, Channahon, Ill.; Robert, Mount Zion, Ill.; George, Rockport, Ill., and Samuel, Dallas, Texas; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

  Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Musselman-Moore Funeral Home, Lexington, Ill. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in evangelical United Methodist Church, Lexington, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lexington. – thanks to S
