James Arthur Jones of RR 2, Veedersburg, age 41, died Tuesday night, August 9, at his home. He was born at Hindsboro, Illinois, June 26, 1942, the son of Malden A. and Melba Dickson Jones. September 30, 1966, he married Joye (Joyce?) A. Hetrick, who survives. Jones was a 1960 graduate of Kingman High School and attended a diesel school in Nashville, Tennessee. He was a member of Coopers Chapel Church and a former board member of Grace Christian Academy near Covington.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Jane Ann and Janean, both at home; a son, Justin, at home; his father and stepmother of Kingman; three sisters, Linda Galloway of Veedersburg, Karen Bahls of Perrysville and Judy Jones of Cayuga; and a brother, Alan of Kingman.

  Funeral services were held Friday at Coopers Chapel with Rev. Max Paddock officiating. Burial was in Coal Creek Cemetery. Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington was in charge of arrangements. -s-
