Crawfordsville—James C. Jones, 49, Crawfordsville, died at 2:44 p.m. Friday, May 12, 1989 in Community Hospital, Williamsport.
He was born Oct. 24, 1939 in Williamsport, the son of Herbert Lyle and Dorothy B. Runner Jones. He was married March 1, 1958 in Otterbein to Judith A. Tendam, who survives.
He graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1958. He was a 25-year employee of R. R. Donnelley & Son Co. in Crawfordsville.
He was a member of First United Methodist church, Moose Lodge, Masonic Lodge 50 and Eagles Lodge, where he was Indiana state president in 1987-88.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Steven C., Jeffry A. and Brian K., all of Crawfordsville; his parents of Attica; one brother, Herbert L., Mesa, Ariz. And five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandson.
Funeral services were Monday in Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with burial in Masonic South Cemetery. – thanks to S
