JONES, Mary Carolyn Pedler - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Mary Carolyn Jones, 80 year old widow of Alfred Jones died Saturday morning at the home of a son-in-law, Dale Strawser, RFD No 2, Veedersburg.  Born Nov 23, 1864 in Cornwall, England, Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Nahum and Joanna Bray Pedler.  Surviving are seven children: Mrs. Gladys Strawser at whom home she died; Mrs. Lulu Reed of Clinton; John Jones of Bloomingdale; Mrs. Ruth Edwards of Terre Haute; Jack Jones of Marshall; William Jones of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Violet Allen of Covington; 28 grand children; 3 great grandchildren and a brother C. Arthur Pedler of Terre Haute.  Funeral services were held at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Coal Creek Chapel with burial at Coal Creek Cemetery.   --- transcribed by kbz
