Funeral services were held at Lafayette Monday for Russell F. Jones, 79, a bricklayer and former Purdue University employee, who died Thursday, Feb. 16, 1978. Burial was in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Born at Veedersburg, he moved to Lafayette in 1967. Surviving are two sons, Leon of Westville, Ill., and Deward of Lake City, Utah; a brother, Cleo of Crawfordsville; and a sister, Mrs. Estella J. Lewis of Waynetown, who formerly resided west of Mellott. - jlr
