ATTICA — Blanche O. (Miller) Joyner, 94, 104 David Drive, Attica, died at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 1999 in St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She had been a patient for one week. Born Nov. 30, 1904 in Dixon, Mo., she was the daughter of Dick and Bertha Jane McKinzie Miller Sr. She married Edgar Sterling Joyner July 24, 1926 in Williamsport. He preceded her in death Oct. 7, 1985. She was raised and attended school in Missouri. She had resided in Attica more than 50 years. She was a homemaker. Survivors include: brother, Franklin Miller, Attica; sister, Bernice Davis, Clearwater, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers; and a sister. Gravesite services and burial were at 11 a.m., Friday in Riverside Cemetery, Attica, with the Rev. Loren Hetrick officiating The family prefers just fond memories to flowers and contributions.
