JUNKERT, Henry

KINGMAN — Henry Junkert, age 67, of Kingman, died Saturday afternoon, Dec. 7, at his home. He had been ill several months. He was born in Lick Skillet on March 13, 1901, the son of Henry and Minnie Lentz Junkert. He was a retired farmer. He also had worked for General Motors in Tilton for 11 years, retiring in March 1966. He was married to Mildred George, who survives. He was a veteran, having been discharged in 1922. He was a member of the German Lutheran Church. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two daughters, Mrs. Delores Sunderman of Kingman Rt. and Mrs. Barbara Fruhling of Ogden, Ill., Rt; one son, Alan Junkert of Danville Rt. 5; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Junkert of Farmer City, Ill.; one brother, Albert of Corpus Christi, Tex., and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. The Rev. Larry McMillan officiated and burial was in the Kingman Fraternal Cemetery.  --waw
