Mrs. Gertrude LaBaw, 69, of Rt. 4, Veedersburg, died Saturday Feb. 22, 1975 in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill. She was a member of the Stone Bluff United Methodist Church. Born July 11, 1905, she was a daughter of Benjamin and Mattie Clickner Sutton. She married Ross (Note: Ralph-- see his obit -- kbz) E. LaBaw in Fountain County on May 28, 1922. He died Aug. 20, 1972. Surviving are three sons, Gordon of Rt. 1, Veedersburg, Louis of Homestead, Fla., and Raymond of Miami, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Bart (Martha) Florey of Rt.. 4, Veedersburg, and Mrs. Carole Manasco of Hecker, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services in the Stone Bluff United Methodist Church with the Rev. Edgar Walls officiating. Burial in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
